Meet the authors

Tracey Lundquist

Tracey Erak-Lundquist is a teacher whose motivating curriculum has intrigued children for years. As a teacher of reading and writing, Tracey has yet to find any stories that approach the chaotic times of the world today (and problem-solving) in the fashion that the Professor Phil and Friends children’s books do. The stories were inspired by her career as a Golden Apple Award-Winning Master Educator, and as the subject of an article for PEOPLE magazine when nominated for Teacher of the Year for a curriculum she developed by integrating reading, writing, history and the fine arts. Tracey lives with her husband, a retired MARSOC Marine, in Olympia, Washington on a vegetable farm where funny little animals have also taken up residency.

Todd Keith

Todd Keith is an award-winning manager and a published author with unauthorized biographies on The Doors, Madonna, and Kevin Costner (the latter selling over 30,000 the first year). Published in various periodicals and other sources, he continues to write books and research articles professionally, and recently, children’s stories for pleasure. Todd believes children’s books are by far the most challenging, yet the most rewarding books he writes. Despite his background of writing in nearly every literary category, Todd finds himself falling more in love with the children’s genre by the day, especially with his latest book: Professor Phil and Friends: Walls of Love.

Katey Lundquist

Katey Lundquist began her writing career the moment she could move a pencil. Her creativity is unbridled. Knowing that storytelling stimulates imaginations, she shared impromptu Professor Phil stories with students daily. Katey wants readers to laugh, sing, dance, cry, empathize, and engage in the emotions that the story animals emulate.
She taught English at a South American university - a fabulous environment to find story plots! She is bilingual, (Spanish/English) and has an appreciation for cultural differences and diversity that have influenced her writing. She is a poet and has earned awards and publications for her stories, essays, and dramatic oral and musical performances.
Aside from producing children’s stories, Katey writes in a variety of genres to include editing for bestselling authors and CEOs.
“Wonderful! I have never seen a children’s book that addresses the many issues of today in such a clever manner. I look forward to seeing your stories in bookstores everywhere.” -award-winning author/illustrator Robert Quackenbush (Simon & Schuster)
