Tracey Lundquist |
Tracey Erak-Lundquist is a Golden Apple Award-winning teacher, musician, and professional writer. During her teaching career, Tracey has participated in countless writing workshops and educational conferences. She is involved in many writing groups, community organizations, associations, and charities. Tracey has received numerous awards and public recognition, including national writing contests, won by her students. Her motivating curriculum has intrigued children for years. Tracey has yet to find any stories that approach the chaotic times of the world today (and problem-solving) in the fashion that Professor Phil and Friends children's books do. Her family's golden retriever was the inspiration for her stories. Why? Because Professor Phil always knew what to say when nurturing her son, Eric, and daughter, Katey, when they were youngsters. Tracey was interviewed by PEOPLE magazine when nominated for Teacher of the Year for a curriculum she developed by integrating reading, writing, history, and music into her curriculum. She teaches at Tyee Park Elementary School in Lakewood, Washington.
