RICHARD’S SECRETProfessor Phil is confused when his best friend Richard Rooster hides from him and none of the farm animals will reveal what is happening to the professor. Then Professor Phil sees Richard paling around with Barnes the Bear! He assumes Richard has a new best friend which makes the professor sad. After Professor Phil arrives home, he is delighted to discover the wonderful secret Richard plans for him. |
THE CROWSKEGEE AIR-BIRDSUp in the air is from where the Crowskegee Air-Birds, George and Ed, protect Farmer Tom’s farm and all those who live there. When an evil chicken robs Richard Rooster of his confidence and self-esteem, Professor Phil enlists the aid of the two loyal and courageous veteran warbirds. PROFESSOR PHIL’S WALL OF LOVEOscar Ortez Otter is fearful when Busybody Bawkmeister flies into a rage and threatens to build a wall around the hen house to keep him out. Oskar runs to Richard Rooster for help, but this is a situation only Professor Phil can resolve. Professor Phil respects Busybody’s instinct to protect her eggs, but can he convince her to tear down the wall? |
RICHARD ROOSTER AND THE DENTISTRichard Rooster has jaw pain and is attempting to avoid a visit to the dentist. He becomes even more fearful when Marc The Shark tells him horror stories about his own trips there. Then Gavin Gopher explains why his front tooth is missing which only worsens Richard's fear. Professor Phil tries to tell everyone why there’s no reason to fear the dentist, but never gets a chance. When Professor Phil does finally explain, his reason not only shakes up the hen house but results in Richard fleeing Robby’s dental chair before he can fire up his drill! |
RICHARD’S STICKY SITUATIONBarnes keeps a large barrel in his den. Richard wants to know what is in it despite warnings from Barnes to keep out. But Richard is unable to contain himself and violates Barnes’ trust by peeking inside. By doing so, Richard now finds himself in a sticky situation. |
PROFESSOR PHIL’S MISSING MAILWhen Professor Phil and Richard Rooster open the mailbox, they realize the mail is missing - except for an empty envelope which contains Madison Mouse! Accusations and anger start flying at once and Farmer Tom is beckoned to sort out the issue. Once it is discovered that Busybody Bawkmeister “borrowed” the mail, Professor Phil delivers a firm message to not just Busybody, but the whole farm. |
THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEProfessor Phil is shocked to discover how cruel Richard Rooster treats Oskar Ortez Otter. Oskar only speaks Spanish, and because Richard does not understand Oskar’s language he treats him rudely. This hurts Oskar’s feelings and makes him cry. Professor Phil teaches Richard that everyone can learn to understand one another, whatever their language or appearance, so long as they do one thing. |
PROFESSOR PHIL’S TRIUMPHANT PARTYTheThe whole gang gathers together for Professor Phil’s annual potluck. During the affair, chaos erupts as Busybody, the hens, and Richard Rooster dissolve into a frenzy of flying feathers, wondering where Gavin Gopher might be. Gavin appears refusing to remove his hat, mortified by what he believes is a bad mohawk haircut. Beautiful butterfly Cate assures Gavin he looks fabulous, as Madison Mouse silently fumes over having a rival in beauty. Then Barnes the Bear arrives and changes everything. |
THE GREATEST GIFTSA torrential downpour threatens to flood the farm and trap Madison Mouse in her mouse hole. Meanwhile, Professor Phil finds Buddy Beaver depressed because everyone makes fun of his buck teeth. Professor Phil reminds Buddy his teeth are what makes him a Beaver and provides him the talent to build dams. Then the professor leaves to inspect the farm to ensure the others are safe. When Professor Phil returns, he finds Buddy gnawing the final log to erect a dam that not only will keep everyone safe but proves a very important point. |
FINDING YOUR HAPPY PLACERichard Rooster is put off when he finds Busybody Bawkmeister enjoying a favorite book and Professor Phil working on his crystals collection, because this makes them so happy. He sighs and discovers Farmer Tom happy with farm work, Barnes the Bear happy listening to jazz music, and yet Richard still cannot find his happy place! Dejected, he returns to Professor Phil and learns that his happy place was with him the whole time..he just didn't know where to look. |
BARNYARD AuditionsCasting call, casting call, casting call one and all! It’s time for the annual barnyard tryouts, the talent show. "Some will win and some will lose," explains Professor Phil, as everyone vies for a spot in the show. During tryouts, someone catches Barnes the Bear’s tap shoes on fire, sprays water on the wings of the fluttering butterflies during their choreographed aerial show, and chews through the microphone cord so Madison’s lovely aria cannot be heard! Ratty McRat tat-a-tats across the stage, mocking the professor before he runs away. Can the show go on? And more importantly, can Ratty be reformed? Only Professor Phil knows. |
